Key ingredients and mechanisms:
  • Gynostemma Extract: shown to activate AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathways due to its gypenosides content. These pathways are involved in regulating glucose metabolism and insulin sensitivity.
  • Cinnamon Bark Extract: demonstrated the ability to activate insulin receptor substrate (IRS) proteins, improving insulin sensitivity. Additionally, cinnamon inhibits digestive enzymes like α-glucosidase and pancreatic α-amylase, which slows down carbohydrate digestion and absorption, helping to regulate postprandial glucose levels.
  • Indian Barberry: rich in berberine, activates AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) pathways, supporting glucose uptake by cells and inhibiting mitochondrial complex I activity, which affects ATP production and glucose metabolism.
  • Ashwagandha: withanolides and alkaloids help support insulin sensitivity by upregulating glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) expression. Furthermore, they modulate key enzymes involved in glucose metabolism, such as hexokinase and glucokinase, supporting optimal glucose utilization and regulation.
  • Bergamot extract: flavonoids like naringin and neoeriocitrin, help inhibit intestinal glucose absorption by suppressing the activity of sodium-glucose co-transporter 1 (SGLT1) and glucose transporter 2 (GLUT2). Additionally, bergamot activates AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK), promoting glucose uptake by cells and enhancing insulin sensitivity.
  • Resveratrol: activates sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) pathways, supporting insulin sensitivity by deacetylating and activating insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1). It also inhibits nuclear factor kappa B (NF-ÎșB) activation, reducing inflammation and oxidative stress associated with insulin resistance and impaired glucose metabolism.

  • Take 2-3 capsules daily in divided doses. With or without food.
