In skincare, that means bringing together ingredients such as humectants, emollients and selected actives in formulas designed for hydration, texture and a refined finish. In fragrance, it means composing a scent with character and depth. We want the products you choose thoughtfully to become the ones you enjoy reaching for.

We make our ingredient preferences specific. Blends and Formulas supplements are formulated without magnesium stearate. Our skincare is formulated without silicones or PEGs and is fragrance-free. These are concrete choices within our own formulation philosophy.

We place a high priority on ingredient safety, performance and suitability for the intended use. An ingredient’s origin or absence alone does not establish that a finished product is right for everyone. The complete formula, directions and your individual sensitivities still matter.

Ingredients differ across skincare, supplements and fragrance; there is no single ingredient list for the brand. If a detail is unclear or you need help checking a particular ingredient, contact us before ordering.

Please do not assume every product is vegan or suitable for every allergy. For example, Immune Support lists lactoferrin derived from colostrum, and DreamOud lists beeswax absolute. Tell us the product and ingredient you are asking about so we can address the right question.

Yes. Blends and Formulas skincare is formulated without silicones or PEGs and is fragrance-free. Our approach combines ingredients chosen for cleansing, hydration, skin feel and the appearance of the complexion while respecting those ingredient preferences.

“Fragrance-free” applies to our skincare collection. Our perfumes and Monoscents are intentionally scented products in a separate collection.

Follow each product’s directions and introduce new formulas individually so you can assess your response. Several of our leave-on formulas contain retinoids or exfoliating ingredients; ask a qualified skincare professional before combining them with other strong actives or prescription skincare.

Fragrance-free skincare can be a useful preference when choosing a routine, but individual sensitivities vary. Review the complete ingredient list, follow the product directions and test a new product on a small area before wider use. Stop using a product if it causes irritation.

Monoscents explore individual scent themes such as sandalwood, rose or vetiver. Each can be worn on its own, layered with another Monoscent, or used to bring a favorite note into a fragrance you already enjoy.

A single scent theme does not mean a single ingredient. A Monoscent may use complementary materials to create its profile. Begin with a small amount and explore the combination before adding more; the pleasure is in discovering what feels personal to you.

The formula brings together ingredients including triethyl citrate, lactic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid. It is a deliberate approach to odor care for people who want performance and clear ingredient choices in the same daily essential. Many do. Crystal deodorants commonly use potassium alum or ammonium alum. Both are aluminum-containing salts, even when described as natural or mineral ingredients. “Crystal” and “natural” therefore do not mean aluminum-free.

Blends and Formulas deodorant is formulated without aluminum salts of either natural or synthetic origin, including potassium alum and ammonium alum. If avoiding aluminum is your preference, look at the complete ingredient list rather than the front-of-pack description. No. Our deodorant is designed for odor control, rather than to stop perspiration. Sweating and odor are different concerns, so an aluminum-free deodorant should not be understood as a promise to keep underarms completely dry.

Our current unscented formula also avoids added fragrance and baking soda. Follow its directions and check the full ingredient list if you have sensitivities; an unscented product can still contain ingredients that do not suit every person.

Chai Spice brings together botanical oils of ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, clove and black pepper for a warm, aromatic experience. Try Chai Spice Toothpaste or Chai Spice Mouthwash. The toothpaste is mint-free.

No. We do not add fluoride to any Blends and Formulas products. Our toothpastes and mouthwashes are formulated without fluoride, including sodium fluoride.

This describes our formulation choice. It is not a claim that fluoride-containing products are inherently unsafe or that every person has the same dental needs.

We choose a mineral-focused approach for customers who prefer fluoride-free oral care. Our toothpastes contain hydroxyapatite and calcium sodium phosphosilicate, alongside ingredients chosen for cleaning, flavor and freshness. We are interested in how a complete formula can support an enjoyable, consistent oral-care routine.

Enamel care involves the balance between mineral loss and mineral replacement. Calcium and phosphate in saliva participate in that process. Research on surface hardening and deeper mineral movement helps scientists understand how formulations behave, but laboratory findings do not establish that normal fluoride use permanently blocks natural tooth repair.

Fluoride has established benefits for preventing cavities and supporting remineralization. Our decision to omit it is a formulation philosophy, not proof that our products outperform fluoride toothpaste at preventing decay. Ask your dentist which approach fits your cavity risk and needs. Both Blends and Formulas toothpastes list hydroxyapatite and calcium sodium phosphosilicate. They also contain hydrated silica, erythritol, arginine and a zinc ingredient. These are parts of the toothpaste formulas; ingredient research alone does not establish the clinical performance of a particular finished product.

Our mouthwashes have different formulas. They list erythritol, zinc and botanical flavor oils, and they contain ethyl alcohol. They do not list hydroxyapatite or calcium sodium phosphosilicate. Mouthwash complements brushing and cleaning between teeth; it does not replace them or professional dental care. Check the individual product’s directions and ingredients before choosing.

Blends and Formulas currently ships to US addresses, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not currently ship to PO Boxes, APO or FPO addresses. See our Shipping Policy for the current details.

Standard shipping is free on all orders to our supported US addresses. Please allow up to two business days for order processing and shipment. Processing time is separate from the carrier’s delivery time; we do not list a single guaranteed transit time for every destination.

When your order is prepared for shipment, we send a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. Some orders may arrive in multiple shipments.

If your order is delayed, missing, damaged or contains the wrong item, email contact@blendsandformulas.com with your order number and a description of the issue. For damage or an incorrect item, contact us promptly after receiving the package so we can review what happened.

Our Refund Policy provides for reasonable refund requests within 30 days of delivery, subject to its conditions and exclusions. Personal-care goods, including beauty products, are listed as non-returnable, so this is not a blanket return guarantee for every product.
